Kyle Wang

Kyle Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of applications development, data management, and database administration. Kyle is currently employed as the Lead of Applications Development and Data Management at the University of Alberta since May 2023. Prior to this role, they held multiple positions at AutoCanada, including Operational Lead, Technical Lead, Senior Database Developer, and Database Developer from 2016 to 2023. Before AutoCanada, they worked at Noralta Lodge Ltd. as an Applications Developer and Database Administrator from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they also worked at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta as an Application Systems Analyst from 2007 to 2012, where they were involved in software design and development, as well as database administration and development. Their early experience includes working as a Systems Analyst at OEM Remanufacturing in 2007.

Kyle Wang attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 2006 to 2007, where they studied Computer Science. In 2022 to 2023, they attended NAIT again, this time focusing on Project Management for Information Technology. Kyle also obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from Microsoft in 2013.
