Michael Rabl

Michael Rabl has diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 1997, they started their career as a Developer for Ultrasonic Sensor Systems at Siemens, where they worked on the simulation of ultrasound fields and the development of acoustic sensor systems. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Product Manager for Ceramic Sensors and Systems at EPCOS AG. Michael then joined the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in 2002, where they held several positions, including Program Director for "Innovation and Product Management", Program Director for "Productdesign and Technical Communication", and Professor for Sensors and Microsystems. At the university, they were responsible for establishing and administering various departments and study programs, as well as planning and conducting projects. In 2010, they briefly worked as a Senior Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Dean of Faculty at Fachhochschule Oberösterreich.

Michael Rabl has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Innovation and Business Creation from the Technical University of Munich, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Michael also has a Doctorate (Dr. Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, acquired from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Dipl.-Ing. in Mechatronics and Sensor Technology at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from 1991 to 1997. In addition, they briefly attended UCLA in 1995 and 1996, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
