Angela Willis

Director Of Research Compliance at University of Arkansas at Little Rock

Angela Willis has had extensive work experience at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Angela started in 1984 as a Grants Manager and worked in that role until 2004. In 2005, they became the Associate Director of ORSP and served in that role until 2009. From 2009 until now, Angela has held the position of Special Assistant to the Vice Provost for Research/Dean of Graduate School. Currently, they are the Director of Research Compliance.

Angela Willis holds a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education (BME) from the same university, from 1975 to 1979. Additionally, they hold a Master's degree in Music Education (MME) from Ouachita Baptist University, completed from 1980 to 1982. Angela also holds certifications as a Certified Research Administrator from the Research Administrator Certification Council (obtained in December 2011), and as an ECTI Certified Export Compliance Professional in both US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) from the Export Compliance Training Institute (obtained in December 2021).
