Shirley Congdon is currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Bradford since July 2011. Prior to this role, shirley held positions such as Deputy Vice-Chancellor and PVC Learning and Teaching at the same institution. Shirley also served as the Dean of the School of Health Studies at the University of Bradford from October 2009 to July 2010. Before joining the University of Bradford, shirley worked as the Director of Academic Delivery at Liverpool John Moores University and as a Principal Lecturer and Head of Research Methods Group at the University of Teesside. Shirley earned their MA in Sociology and Social Policy from Durham University in 1999.
