David Dymock

University Education Director, Quality at University of Bristol

Dave Dymock is a Professor of Dental Education and serves as the University Education Director (Quality) at the University of Bristol, where involvement includes co-directing the Centre for Health Sciences Education since August 2011. Prior to this, Dave Dymock held the position of Senior Teaching Fellow and Faculty Education Director at the University of Bristol from 1994 to 2011. Earlier experience includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher, lecturer, and senior lecturer in Oral Microbiology at the University of Bath between December 1988 and December 1993, as well as working as a Higher Scientific Officer at Agricultural Genetics Company focused on genetic manipulation of potatoes from January 1987 to December 1988. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Bacterial Genetics from Cranfield Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Dundee.
