Yanran Li

Yanran Li is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside, since 2016, with a focus on metabolic engineering. Yanran Li previously served as a Postdoc at Stanford University from June 2013 to July 2016, specializing in the metabolic engineering of *S. cerevisiae* for natural product biosynthesis. Prior to this, Yanran Li worked at the California Institute of Technology from May 2012 to May 2013, researching bacteria interactions on microfluidic devices. Yanran Li's academic journey began with a Graduate Student Researcher position at UCLA from January 2008 to March 2012, investigating and engineering the biosynthesis of aromatic polyketides. Yanran Li holds a BS in Chemistry and a BE in Chemical Engineering, both earned from Nankai University and Tianjin University, respectively, from 2003 to 2007.
