Edward Fisher is currently a Clinical Research Assistant at the University of California, San Francisco, in the neurosurgical oncology lab of Manish Aghi, MD, PhD, and at UC San Diego School of Medicine in the plastic and reconstructive nerve surgery lab of Katharine Hinchcliff, MD. As a co-founder of Biogenesis Trials, a clinical trial automation platform backed by Jack Altman, Edward also has prior experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan and as an intern in investments and venture management at atai Life Sciences, both of which led to a full-time offer and involvement in the psychiatric biopharma sector. Additional roles include principal on the investment team at Lighthaven Capital Management, venture capital winter analyst at Bioverge Ventures, product growth strategy intern at novelty.today, carbon fund coordinator at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and private equity summer analyst at Ocean Leap Capital. Edward is pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a Pre-Med focus at UC San Diego, having completed secondary education at Kehillah Jewish High School.
