Gordon Williamson

Gordon Williamson is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in academia, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at the University of East Anglia since January 2022. Previously, Gordon held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from January 2021 to December 2021, and completed a PhD at the University of Strathclyde from October 2017 to December 2020. Gordon's research background includes a 10-week placement as a Postgraduate Student Researcher at Robert Gordon University in 2017, where the focus was on the nematode species C, as well as a Summer Research Internship at the University of Strathclyde in 2015. Gordon's educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, a Master’s Degree in Industrial Biotechnology, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Forensic Biology, all from the University of Strathclyde.
