Jenny Baxter

Jenny Baxter has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the media and education sectors. Jenny is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at Christ's Hospital School since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at the University of East Anglia starting in 2018. Jenny also worked as a Senior Programme Manager (Transformation) at The Open University from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they had notable roles at the BBC, including Chief Operating Officer of BBC England and Director of Major Projects. Jenny also held several positions at BBC News, including Controller of Production, News and Head of Foreign News. Jenny Baxter began their career in 1994 and has accumulated a wealth of experience in strategy, development, and production.

Jenny Baxter holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Surrey, where they studied Foreign Languages and International Politics. In 2013-2014, they attended the University of Michigan as a Knight Wallace Fellow, specializing in Digital Transformation (Media).
