Shelley Rhodes

Shelley Rhodes is a Senior Trial Manager and Lecturer in Clinical Research Methods at the University of Exeter since April 2012, overseeing clinical trials, including design, regulatory submission, safety reporting, patient recruitment, and financial control, all while ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements. Previously, Shelley held positions such as Senior Trial Manager and ECTS Network Manager at ExeCTU, contributing to the NIHR-HTA funded COBRA trial for depression treatment, and as a Human Study Manager at the Rowett Institute, managing a significant human nutrition study. Academic roles include Research Associate at Newcastle University, focusing on animal welfare, and Research Assistant roles at Cambridge University, emphasizing inter-hemispheric synchronisation in motor performance. Shelley holds an MPhil in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Neuroscience from Newcastle University, and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham.
