Emily Oxley

Lecturer In Language And Literacy Education at University of Glasgow

Emily Oxley is a lecturer in Language and Literacy Education at the University of Glasgow, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Emily served as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Teaching, focusing on evidence synthesis in education from July 2023 to July 2024. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow (November 2022 - May 2024), Emily led research projects in Education, including securing funding and conducting systematic reviews. Previous experience includes work at the University of Edinburgh on the Nuffield Foundation 'Love to Read' trial and extensive research assistance roles at the University of Leeds. Emily holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds and additional degrees in Linguistics and Education.
