Emmanuel Jigo

Emmanuel Jigo, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and information security with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Researcher/Consultant at JiSec Research Group since December 2020, Emmanuel specializes in conducting assessments, penetration testing, and incident recovery for clients. Additionally, Emmanuel is a University Lecturer at the University of Goroka, where courses on Cyber Security and Advanced Computer Security are taught. Previous positions include Security Consultant at PNG DATACO LIMITED, Security Researcher at Nova Southeastern University, and Software Engineer roles at Financial Times and University of Santo Tomas. Emmanuel holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Nova Southeastern University, along with an MS in Information Security and a BS in Computer Science. Throughout the career, a strong emphasis has been placed on leadership, research, and effective communication, contributing to multiple grant-funded presentations and publications.
