Kars de Graaf is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Regeringscommissaris Omgevingswet at the Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties since January 2024. As a Professor of Public Law and Sustainability at the University of Groningen since November 1999, Kars has held various academic positions, including Adjunct Professor and Associate Professor.
