Nina Wenke

Nina Wenke is a highly experienced science manager specializing in computational systems biology, currently holding dual roles at the University of Hamburg and CoSyBio since April 2021. Prior to this, Nina served as the science manager of experimental bioinformatics at the Technical University of Munich from February 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included grant proposal management and scientific guidance in bioinformatic research. Additionally, Nina contributed as a scientific advisor to the university's president, participating in faculty recruitment and evaluation for tenure track professors. Previously, Nina was a doctoral researcher at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, focusing on immunology and neurology, and gained valuable experience through internships and research assistant positions, including work at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine. Nina holds a Dr. rer. nat in biomedicine from Freie Universität Berlin and additional degrees in biotechnology and marketing management.
