Rebeca Torres Serrano

Rebeca Torres Serrano is an accomplished professor and researcher at the University of Holguin since September 2016, with additional teaching responsibilities at Universidad de Holguín. Alongside academic roles, Rebeca engages in freelance work as a translator, interpreter, and creative writer since 2016. Rebeca holds a Bachelor's degree in English and French Language and Literature from the University of Holguín, where studies were completed from 2010 to 2016. Currently, Rebeca is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Sciences at the same institution, expected to conclude in 2024. Rebeca has also participated as a mentee in the creative industries program at Mentoras Creativas and recently served as a visiting researcher in translation and literary studies at Université Paris 8 from October to December 2023.
