Joe Bishop

Joe Bishop has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Volunteers Coordinator at the Edmund Rice Network from 2005 to 2010. Joe then worked as an Education Assistant at UNICEF UK in 2011. In 2009, Joe became a District Coffee Master for East Yorkshire at Starbucks Coffee Company Uk Ltd, focusing on training and development. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Go Connect: Study Abroad Officer at the University of Hull, coordinating study abroad programs. Joe then took on the role of International Relations and Engagement Officer from 2016 to 2017, before becoming the Engagement Manager (International & Corporate) from 2017 to 2020, both at the University of Hull. Their most recent position is as the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Manager at the University of Hull, a role they have held since 2020.

Joe Bishop graduated from St Mary's Catholic College in 2006 with A-levels in English Literature, Drama, Psychology, and Geography. Joe then attended the University of Hull from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts. In 2018, Joe returned to the University of Hull to complete a Certificate in Professional Management from the Faculty of Education. Recently, from 2023 to 2025, they pursued an Executive MBA at the University of Hull, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
