Vickie Cook

Vickie Cook, Ph.D., serves as the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment & Retention Management at the University of Illinois Springfield since September 2013, with a focus on operational management of enrollment functions. Cook's extensive experience includes roles as Executive Director for Online, Professional & Engaged Learning and Director of the Center for Online Learning, Research & Service. Prior to the current position, Cook held leadership roles at Greenville College, overseeing innovations in technology and leading the School of Education. An advocate for professional development in higher education, Cook specializes in generational teaching and engagement strategies. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Higher Educational Administration from Capella University and various degrees in education and liberal studies.
