Yvonne Wakeford

Yvonne Wakeford has an extensive and diverse work experience. Yvonne started their career in the retail industry as a Buyer for various companies in South Africa. Yvonne later transitioned into academia, holding positions as a Lecturer at Boston University and Tufts University. Yvonne also served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Shaw University. Currently, they hold the role of Director in the Office of Human Research Protections at the University of Indianapolis. Throughout their career, Yvonne has demonstrated a range of skills and expertise in research, education, and administration.

Yvonne Wakeford pursued their education starting from Kingsway High School in South Africa from 1973 to 1977. Yvonne then received their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boston University in 2000, followed by a Master of Science in Experimental Cognitive Psychology from Tufts University in 2002. Yvonne'sacademic journey continued at Tufts University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Experimental Cognitive Psychology in 2006. In 2018, they also received a certification in Content Marketing: Social Media from LinkedIn.
