Alison Webster has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and positions. Alison began their career at Northgate Medical Practice in 1990, where they served as an Assistant to the Practice Manager until 2000. Alison then joined the University of Kent in 2001, starting as a Secretary to the Head of Department/Office Supervisor and later becoming a Programme Administrator. Alison gradually advanced within the organization, taking on roles such as Faculties Support Officer, Faculties Support Manager, and ultimately becoming the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Quality Assurance at the University of Kent.

Alison Webster completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at the University of Kent from 2015 to 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a PG Cert in Professional Practice (HE Administration and Management) from The Open University between 2009 and 2011.
