Yana Kuzmina

Yana Kuzmina is an experienced academic and language professional with a significant background in English philology and applied linguistics. Holding the position of Associate Professor at the University of Latvia since September 2009, Yana also serves as the Director of the English Philology Bachelor Study Programme. Additionally, Yana has been an Assistant Professor at Riga Technical College since October 1999 and worked as a Senior Lecturer for the International House World Organisation from February 2004 to June 2011, focusing on corporate training and English language testing. Yana's strong educational foundation includes a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Latvijas Universitate and various professional development courses in blended learning, learner analytics, and digital humanities. Yana is also certified in Aviation English and has experience in English for Specific Purposes project management.
