Helen Kennedy

Helen Kennedy is a Professor of Digital Society at the University of Sheffield since November 2014 and has been engaged in research on social media data mining and the reception of data visualisations since 2011, with both projects funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). Additionally, Helen Kennedy has held the position of Senior Lecturer in New Media at the University of Leeds since February 2008 and served as the Director of Inclusive New Media Design from 2007 to 2009. Prior experience includes being a Principal Lecturer in Interactive Media at the University of East London from September 1996 to January 2008. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Birmingham and the University of East London.
