Arben Gjata

Arben Gjata is an accomplished academic and medical professional with extensive experience in surgery and medical education. Currently serving as the Rector of the University of Medicine in Tirana since June 2015, Arben Gjata has also held the roles of Surgeon and Professor at Tirana Medicine University since September 1985. Arben Gjata's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in General Surgery and a degree in General Medicine from the Medicine Faculty of Tirana University, complemented by a General Surgery Residency Program completed between 1980 and 1985.
