Sara Quinn is a distinguished professional in journalism and mass communications with extensive experience in various academic and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Minnesota since July 2019, Sara also holds the position of R.M. Seaton Endowed Journalism Chair at Kansas State University and works as a journalism consultant. Sara has been actively involved with the Society for News Design since 1987, fulfilling various leadership roles, including President in 2016. Previous experience includes a visiting professorship at Ball State University, faculty positions at The Poynter Institute focusing on visual journalism, and editorial roles at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and The Wichita Eagle. Education includes a Master's degree in Illustration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Graphic Design from Wichita State University.
