Deb Mitchell

Deb Mitchell has a rich work history, spanning several industries and roles. Deb began their career at Celestica in 1996, where they worked as a Human Resources Prime for eight years. After that, they joined Quality Supply, Inc. as a Human Resources Manager, staying with the company until 2011. In 2009, they became a Board Member at SHRM Big Sky Chapter, a role they held until 2013. Following this, they joined the Greater Missoula Family YMCA as the Director of Human Resources, serving in this capacity until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Rivertop Renewables, a startup green chemical company, as the Director of Human Resources. Currently, Deb Mitchell is the Director of Human Resources at the University of Montana Foundation, a position they have held since 2018.

Deb Mitchell completed their Bachelor's degree in the field of School of Journalism from the University of Montana in the period from 1988 to 1993. Deb went on to pursue a Certification in Comprehensive Human Resources Management from Portland State University, although the specific start and end years for this certification are unknown. Prior to their higher education, Deb attended Great Falls High School from 1986 to 1988, where they did not receive a degree or focus on a specific field of study.
