Moayyad Alazzam is an experienced language educator with a strong background in teaching Arabic. Currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana since June 2018, Moayyad has dedicated over 4,000 hours to teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine Arabic, achieving a 50% increase in student proficiency through a student-centered approach. Prior experience includes serving as an Arabic Language Instructor at SIT Study Abroad, where 95% of students reached their language goals, and as a Language and Culture Facilitator for the Peace Corps, developing effective training programs. Moayyad also taught at the Sijal Institute for Arabic Language and Culture, providing tailored classes for diplomats. Academically, Moayyad holds a Master’s of Education in International Educational Leadership from the University of Montana and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Yarmouk University.
