Brock Wissmiller

A native of the Chicago suburb Downers Grove, Illinois, Brock has an enduring passion for connecting people through sports. He served as a play-by-play football announcer at his alma mater, Western Illinois University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in broadcasting and a graduate degree in sport management. Brock turned his love of sports into a career and now his fundraising efforts support the Omaha Mavericks. Brock came to Omaha in 2022 from the athletic department at Upper Iowa University, where he earned his MBA. Athletics have always been a big part of Brock’s life, and he enjoys connecting donors with opportunities to support UNO and its student-athletes.
