Andrew Walters

Andrew Walters is an experienced finance and operations executive with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice-President of Operations at UNSW since August 2015, Andrew has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Deakin University from September 2006 to July 2015, and at Debswana Diamond Company from February 1999 to December 2002. Andrew's early career includes significant roles as Chief Financial Officer at De Beers Botswana and Audit Manager and Audit Intern at Price Waterhouse. Andrew's educational qualifications comprise Chartered Accountant certifications from both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe, as well as an Executive Development Programme from GIBS Business School, and degrees in Accounting from the University of South Africa and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
