Andy Mears

Andy Mears, PMP, currently serves as Director of Information Technology Operations and Chief Enterprise Architect at the University of North Texas System since September 2016. Prior experience includes a role as Solutions Architect at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where responsibilities involved defining and delivering business process solutions, as well as optimizing ECM solutions integrated with PeopleSoft ERP. Previous positions include Project Manager at First Advantage, overseeing corporate infrastructure projects, VP of Operations and IT at Background Information Systems, and IT Manager at Migratec/One Up, managing all IT functions. Andy began a career in technology as a Groupware Developer at the University of North Texas. Andy holds a BBA in Operations Management from the University of North Texas.
