Chris Gell

Chris Gell currently serves as an Enterprise Architect at the University of Nottingham, where responsibilities include aligning digital capabilities with the university's strategic goals and consulting stakeholders on digital solutions. With previous roles such as Digital Research Specialist Team Leader and Microscopist, Chris has a strong background in enterprise architecture and research support. Earlier experience includes a research position at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics focused on instrument design and software development, as well as heading a laser resource facility at the University of Leeds. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Single Molecule Microscopy and a Master's in Physics with Electronics and Instrumentation, both from the University of Leeds.
