Gary Frenkel

Gary Frenkel is a seasoned information security professional currently serving as a Senior Information Security Analyst at the University of Pennsylvania since February 2023. Previously, Gary held a long-term role at The Wharton School from May 2006 to February 2023, where responsibilities included utilizing tools such as AWS, Crowdstrike Falcon, and Fortinet in information security analysis. Gary has extensive experience in systems administration and IT support, managing diverse applications and services, including VMWare, Kaseya, and Microsoft Server environments. Gary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from the University of the Arts and completed foundational education at Temple University and George Washington High School.
