Sarath S. Kodithuwakku

Dean, Faculty of Agriculture at University of Peradeniya

Sarath Kodithuwakku currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Peradeniya and has been a senior professor at the same institution since October 1998. With a robust academic and administrative background, Sarath held various positions, including Chairmen of the Board of Study in Business Administration, founder coordinator for the MBA, and head of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management. Additionally, Sarath is the President of the Institute of Management Sri Lanka and has served as Vice President for several years. Previously, Sarath was an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship at Sultan Qaboos University and held significant roles in several organizations related to agricultural economics and marketing. Sarath holds an MBA and PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Stirling and a B.Sc. in Agriculture with a focus on Agricultural Economics from the University of Peradeniya.
