Anita Butler Acim

Anita Butler ACIM has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anita began their career as the Managing Director of Tree Huggers in 2007. Anita then worked as a Sales Assistant/Office Assistant at Next Group PLC from 2008 to 2011. Anita gained customer service experience as a Customer Assistant at LUSH FRESH HANDMADE COSMETICS from 2011 to 2013 and as a Sales Associate at Radley + Co Ltd from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Anita joined Radian Group Ltd and held multiple roles, including PR & Marketing Trainee, Community Involvement Administrator, and Facilities Officer. Anita continued to expand their skills in communication and strategic management as the Vice President - Welfare & Community at University of Portsmouth Students' Union from 2017 to 2018.

Anita then took on the role of Communications Manager at Solent Students' Union from 2018 to 2019, where they led communications, marketing, promotions, and research efforts to drive engagement and participation. Anita further honed their marketing and management skills as the Marketing and Insights Manager at University of Portsmouth Students' Union from 2019 to 2022, overseeing key projects and teams.

In addition, Anita pursued entrepreneurship as the Business Owner of Little Orangutan from 2022, where they handled all operations and strategy, including SEO management and social media campaigns.

Throughout their career, Anita has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, manage projects, and contribute to strategic planning and development.

Anita Butler ACIM completed their education as follows:

- From 2011 to 2017, Anita attended the University of Portsmouth where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.

- Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they studied at South Downs College, completing their A Levels/AS Levels with a focus on Business Studies, Media Studies, Graphic Communications, and Photography.

- Anita's secondary education took place at Warblington School from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their GCSE's.

In addition to their formal education, Anita has also obtained various certifications and completed training courses:

- In 2022, they became a Certified Carbon Literate through The Carbon Literacy Project.

- In 2020, Anita completed a Digital Transformation course from LinkedIn.

- In 2019, they became a member of CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and obtained the designation "ACIM" (Associate CIM).

- In 2018, Anita completed courses from Lynda.com, including "Delegating Tasks to Your Team," "Hiring Your Team," "New Manager Foundations," and "Onboarding New Hires."

- In the same year, they also attended a training on "How to Develop Great Legacy Communications" offered by the Directory of Social Change.

- Additionally, Anita obtained a Bronze Trinity Arts Award in Photography from South Downs College in 2008.
