Maria Christiaens is a certified public accountant and recently retired partner with the public accounting firm of Eide Bailly LLP. During her 36-year career with Eide Bailly she offered audit, tax, and business consulting services. She devoted the bulk of her time specializing in employee benefit plan audits as the firm’s chair of the EBP technical issues committee, overseeing over 1,000 plan audits annually. Maria graduated from the University of Providence (then known as the College of Great Falls) in 1985 and is pleased to be of service to the institution that gave her so much academically and spiritually.
Maria currently serves on various boards and committees for organizations including the Alberta Bair Theater (Billings, MT), Diocesan Finance Council of the Roman Catholic Church (Eastern MT); and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Task Force Chair for Multiple Employer Plans (Washington, DC).
Maria grew up on a farm near Valier, MT and now resides in Billings, MT.
