Muyngim Eng

Muyngim Eng is a Research Associate at the University of California, Davis, collaborating with Dr. Gerald Kost on COVID-19 diagnostics in Cambodia. Eng also serves as a Research Officer at the University of Puthisastra, organizing research training workshops, supporting the Cambodian Health Journal, and supervising student theses. As a Research Consultant with SNV, Eng designs behavior change communication frameworks for improved cooking practices and clean cookstove adoption in rural areas. Engagement with UNESCO involves developing physical activity guidelines for Cambodians, and as a gold medalist athlete, Eng contributes to promoting health through physical activity. Additionally, as the founder of We Run Cambodia, Eng organizes eco-marathons and raises awareness about climate change. Previous roles include policy analysis at Future Forum and lecturing on pharmacy topics at the University of Puthisastra. Eng holds a Master's degree in Adapted Physical Activity and Health and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
