Steve Garcia

Steve Garcia has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology, spending the last 25 focused primarily on higher education.

Steve returned to the University of Redlands in 2011 after 10 years as an Information Technology consultant in higher education. During this time, he had the opportunity to work with many colleges and universities helping them to restructure IT operations, create business intelligence frameworks, and align processes and technology.

Prior to his consulting work, Steve served at the University of Redlands as an analyst in both the Offices of Institutional Research and Information Technology Services. He began his career in IT as a programmer and systems analyst in the public utility sector assisting water companies in Southern California to automate their maintenance and billing operations.
