Skip Wilson has extensive experience in the field of development and fundraising. Skip began their career at Georgetown University as a Regional Assistant from September 2001 to January 2004. Skip then joined Connecticut College, where they held various roles, including Assistant Director of Annual Giving from January 2004 to July 2007, Associate Director of Annual Giving from July 2007 to September 2011, Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving from September 2011 to October 2014, and finally Leadership Gifts Officer from October 2014 to September 2018. Currently, Wilson is the Director of Development for the College of the Environment & Life Sciences at URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement, a position they have held since September 2018.
Skip Wilson attended Lexington High School from 1993 to 1997. Following their high school education, they went on to attend Bates College from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
