Ninia Calaca

Ninia Calaca is an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Santo Tomas, with a career that spans over three decades. Ninia serves as an eLearning Consultant and Policy Expert, contributing to various roles including Director of the Educational Technology Center, eLearning Access Program Manager, Budget Director, and Officer of the Project Management Office at the Commission on Higher Education since January 2015. Responsibilities involve providing technical expertise in the conceptualization and development of higher education programs, ensuring compliance with standards, and assessing educational quality. Additionally, Ninia was a member of the UNESCO - Philippine Open Educational Resource Task Force and worked as a Digital Curriculum Consultant for Vibal Publishing Company. Ninia holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MPhil in Development Studies from Massey University and SCDE in Distance Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
