Ryan Frye

Ryan Frye has held various positions in the field of sports communications and media relations. Ryan currently serves as the Associate Director of Sport Communications at USC Upstate since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Morehead State University, where they held roles such as Media Relations Assistant and Graduate Assistant - Athletic Media Relations from May 2020 to July 2021 and from February 2018 to May 2020, respectively. Ryan also served as a Student Manager - Varsity Baseball from August 2015 to June 2018 and as a Student Assistant - Athletic Media Relations from September 2016 to February 2018 at Morehead State University. Additionally, Ryan has internship experience with the Lexington Legends as a Facility Operations Intern in 2018, 2017, and 2016. Ryan has also worked as a Team Coordinator from May 2015 to May 2016 and as an Editorial Intern from March 2014 to May 2015 at Dugout Media.

Ryan Frye completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sport Management from Morehead State University, starting in 2013 and completing it in 2017. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sport Management from the same university, starting in 2016 and finishing in 2018. Following this, they furthered their education at Morehead State University, obtaining a second Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication, General from 2018 to 2020.
