Joel Curran

Joel Curran serves as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Events and Chief Communications Officer at the University of Southern California, where responsibilities include setting strategic communications vision and marketing strategies to enhance the university's reputation. Previously, Curran held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications at the University of Notre Dame, and served as Vice Chancellor of Communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior experience includes leadership roles at MSLGROUP, Cramer-Krasselt, and The Walt Disney Company, among others. Curran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
