Alan Huang

Senior Teaching Fellow (associate Professor) at University of Strathclyde

Alan Huang is a Senior Teaching Fellow (Associate Professor) at the University of Strathclyde since January 2016, currently serving as Director of Postgraduate Taught and Course Leader for MSc TESOL & Intercultural Communications. Concurrently, Alan holds a position as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at The University of Manchester and serves as an External Examiner for PGCE Modern Languages. With a role at the Scottish Qualifications Authority since May 2017, Alan is involved in examining and quality assurance processes. Past experience includes leadership as Head of Mandarin at George Heriot's School and as a Postgraduate Tutor at The University of Edinburgh. Alan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Education, a Master’s Degree in Language Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese and English from prestigious institutions.
