Mickey Mossey

Mickey Mossey has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology. They began their career as a Network Tech at MGC Computer Services, where they designed, set up, and supported Windows and Novell networks. After that, they worked as a Level 3 Desktop Support at IBM where they provided Y2K consulting and deskside support. In 2000, Mickey joined the University of Vermont as a Programmer/Developer/System Administrator, where they developed web-based applications using PHP, MySQL, and Linux. During their time at the University, they also worked for the University of Vermont Foundation in various roles, including Director of Information Technology and Programming & Systems Administration, and Senior Associate Director of Information Technology and Programming & System Administration. In these roles, they focused on programming, system administration, and developing applications in various languages to support higher education development and alumni relations. Mickey's experience encompasses a wide range of programming languages, databases, operating systems, and network infrastructure.

Mickey Mossey attended the University of Vermont from 2003 to 2011, where they pursued continuing education without obtaining a specific degree. In terms of additional certifications, Mickey received the Ellucian Live Online 2020 Attendee certification from Ellucian in July 2020. Furthermore, they obtained several certifications related to programming for Android handheld systems from Coursera. This includes the certifications in Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems (obtained in September 2014), Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems (obtained in July 2014), and Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems (obtained in March 2014).
