Steve Kahle

Steve Kahle is an experienced engineer with a robust background in electrical and electronics engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at the University of Washington Applied Physics Laboratory since December 2013, Steve possesses a wealth of expertise from the role of Chief Engineer and Manufacturing Manager at Genco Refrigeration Systems, where innovative Transportation Refrigeration Unit Start/Stop Controllers are developed to significantly reduce diesel consumption for frozen goods shipping. Previous experience includes a position as Principal Software Engineer focused on research and innovation in cardiac products. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and multiple Associate of Science degrees from North Seattle College and Seattle Central College, encompassing fields such as industrial electronics technology and naval architecture.
