Wquinton Smith

Wquinton Smith is an experienced professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Engagement and Community Outreach at Wisconsin Athletics since October 2021, previously holding the role of Assistant Director of Inclusion & Engagement. Prior to this, Wquinton worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on sport-based peer relationships among adolescents, particularly those of color. Wquinton’s earlier career includes various positions in customer service and sales, such as On-site Services Specialist and Sales Specialist at Grainger Industrial Supply, Personal Banker at Guaranty Bank, and Sales Associate at Finish Line, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills. Wquinton holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis, a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor of Arts in African-American/Black Studies, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
