Dave Ruhland

David Ruhland, MBA, currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls since August 2022. Prior to this role, David worked at North Dakota State University from November 2006 to August 2022 as Director of the Ag Budget & Finance Office, managing an annual budget of $100 million and overseeing 800+ full-time staff. Key responsibilities included developing financial planning systems, coordinating various budgets, collaborating with stakeholders, supervising a team, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Earlier in their career, David held the position of Government & External Affairs Manager at Frontier Communications from 1995 to 2006. David Ruhland earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and English from Saint John's University.
