Myriam Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Professor at Universidad Atonoma Metropolitana - Azcapotzalco. From there, they held various webmaster positions at MacMurray College, Illinois School for the Deaf, and Illinois School for the Visually Impaired. Myriam then transitioned to roles in web development and management at Indiana University Northwest and Indiana University Bloomington. In 2019, they became the Director of Digital Campus Infrastructure at Indiana University, where they were responsible for multiple areas including the Digital Accessibility Office and Native Apps. After that, they joined Rume Health as the Head of IT Client Services and Support and IT Operations, overseeing nationwide IT operations and leading the technical support operation after an acquisition. Myriam'smost recent position is as the Director of Client & Application Services at the University of Wisconsin System, where they currently work.
Myriam Young's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico. Myriam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design in 1995. In 1996, they enrolled at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana again and completed a Graduate Certificate in New Media with a specialization in Graphic Arts in 1997.
In 2017, Myriam Young pursued further education and attended Indiana University Northwest. Myriam obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management from this institution in 2019. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Designing Strategy from IDEO U in February 2022.
