Kathleen Fleming

Kathleen Fleming currently serves as the Dean of Academics at University Preparatory Schools, a role held since July 2022. Previously, Kathleen taught fifth grade at Rocky Mountain Prep from July 2020 to June 2022 and held multiple positions at University Preparatory Schools between July 2015 and July 2020, including Grade Level Chair and Instructional Lead. Kathleen's extensive experience includes developing and implementing curricula aligned with Common Core State Standards, mentoring fellow educators, and fostering positive team dynamics. Initial teaching roles at Wyatt Academy and Alamance-Burlington School System involved creating engaging lesson plans and utilizing differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs. Kathleen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Elon University in May 2013.
