Marc Steren

Marc Steren is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within academic institutions. Currently serving as Co-CEO and Co-Founder of University Startups, a company dedicated to assisting disadvantaged students in accessing higher education and career opportunities, Marc has also co-founded a portfolio company under Techstars Washington DC. Previously, Marc held leadership roles such as Founding Director of Entrepreneurship at The Universities at Shady Grove and Director at The Bullis School, where a nationally recognized entrepreneurship program was developed. Marc's experience includes roles at Georgetown University, where curriculum development for incubators occurred, and at Steren Business Consulting, providing professional consulting services. With a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor's in Near Eastern Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, Marc combines a strong educational background with a commitment to social impact and entrepreneurial growth.
