Evan Cobb

Evan Cobb has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Evan is currently the Director of Communications And Public Relations at University Support Services (USS) since November 2022. Prior to that, Evan worked at Jellyfish from 2020 to 2021, where they served as the Senior Marketing Director. In this role, they directed international public relations campaigns and managed a network of public relations agencies in multiple countries. Evan also created a plan to in-house all PR activities in 2022. Before joining Jellyfish, Evan worked at Pearson from 2014 to 2020, holding positions such as Director of Digital Engagement and Content, Executive Community Manager, and Digital Communications Manager. Evan played a key role in launching and redesigning the company's website, managing employee communications, and directing change communications during major restructuring periods. Prior to Pearson, Evan worked at UNITE HERE from 2007 to 2013, where they served as a Communications Specialist and later as a Communications Director. Evan was responsible for developing communication strategies for organizing campaigns, managing print and electronic communications, and ensuring consistency across the organization's public-facing products and events. Evan's early career began at Yale University where they worked as a Language Instructor from 2003 to 2007, teaching German language, literature, and culture to undergraduate and graduate students.

Evan Cobb has a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and History from Oberlin College, which was obtained from 1997 to 2001. Evan then pursued a Master of Arts degree in German Literature at Yale University, completing it from 2001 to 2002. Following this, they earned a Master of Philosophy degree in German Literature from Yale University, which was achieved from 2002 to 2005.
