Josephine Notaras

Josephine Notaras is the Head of the Sustainable Financial System team at Principles for Responsible Investment since January 2022. Previously, Josephine served as a Consultant for Sophoi, assisting The B Team NGO in developing a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning tool for its 2025 strategy. Education includes a Merit MSc in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex, focusing on sustainable finance and governance, and an MA in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe. Josephine has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, having held senior positions at Munnypot, the Financial Conduct Authority, Money and Pensions Service, and the Financial Services Authority, as well as advocacy roles at the Association of British Insurers and a policy internship at the European Commission.
