Mauricio Antunes

Mauricio Antunes is a researcher at the UNT BioDiscovery Institute since September 2018 and serves as an Assistant Professor of Plant Synthetic Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this, Mauricio Antunes was a Special Assistant Professor at Colorado State University from August 2010 to August 2018. The academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Purdue University (1998-2003), a Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Sciences from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1993-1995), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agronomy and Crop Science, also from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1988-1992).
